Note: In their Motion to Dismiss, KDFA relied entirely on indictments filed after the article and broadcast. The DA is now dismissing the Failure to Appear indictment because it fails as a matter of law. Edward never evaded and was never given notice to appear. The charge alleges Failure to Appear, not a bond-compliance issue, which is what was revoked on Feb. 2, 2026. Edward will notify the Court in this defamation case once the dismissal is entered on the judicial record.
